Dishwasher

  • 1 tbsp detergent per load
  • For best results, toss the detergent directly into the body of the dishwasher
  • If using the door compartment, run the dishwasher immediately to prevent moisture from causing clumping

Note: Our detergent contains no fillers or preservatives, which means it may clump if exposed to moisture. This is a sign of its natural, concentrated formula!

Laundry

  • Small / Medium: 2 tbsp detergent per load
  • Large: 3 tbsp detergent per load
  • Extra dirty or smelly: 3 tbsp detergent per load
  • Pre-Soak: 1 tbsp per 2-3 gallons of warm / hot water
  • Add detergent directly to the drum or body of the washer after loading your laundry

Clumping & Packaging

Because our formula is free from fillers and anti-caking agents, clumping can occur naturally — especially in humid environments or when the product has been stored for a while.
Clumping is completely normal and does not affect performance in any way.

Packaging:

Your detergent comes in a two-string cinch cotton bag designed for easy storage and reuse. The natural cotton allows the product to breathe while keeping it protected.

If your detergent clumps:

  • Option 1 – Stir Method: Open the bag and use a clean, dry utensil (such as a scoop or spoon) to gently break apart and stir the product.
  • Option 2 – Shake Method: Pull both drawstrings to cinch the bag closed, then tie the strings tightly around the opening to ensure no product escapes. Shake the bag for about 10–20 seconds to loosen clumps.

Storage Tip:

Keep your bag in a cool, dry place with the strings tied securely after each use. If moisture enters the bag, allow it to sit open in a dry area before breaking up clumps.

Additional Applications

Stain Removal

Our natural formula is tough on stains but gentle on fabrics and the environment. Here’s how to tackle stubborn stains:

  1. Pre-soak: For tough stains, pre-soak the garment in a solution of 1 tbsp The G Spot Detergent per 2-3 gallons of warm water.
  2. Isopropyl alcohol treatment:
    • For most fabrics (except wool, satin, or dry-clean-only materials), douse the stain with 70% or 90% isopropyl alcohol.
    • Gently work the alcohol into the stain.
    • Immediately place the garment in the washer for cleaning.
  3. Specific stain treatments:
    • Oil: Sprinkle detergent directly on the stain, gently work it in, and let sit for 15 minutes before washing.
    • Blood: Rinse with cold water, then apply a paste of detergent and water. Let sit for 30 minutes before washing.
    • Ketchup/Mustard: Scrape off excess, then apply detergent directly. Gently rub and let sit for 10 minutes before washing.
  4. Wash: After pre-treating, wash the garment with The G Spot Detergent according to the laundry instructions above.

Remember: Always test any stain removal method on an inconspicuous area first, especially when using isopropyl alcohol.

Upholstery Cleaning

  1. Mix 1 tbsp detergent with 2 cups of warm water
    • Be sure the product is fully desolved
  2. Use a soft brush or cloth to apply the solution to the fabric
  3. Gently scrub in circular motions
  4. Wipe clean with a damp cloth
  5. Allow to air dry

All-Purpose Cleaner

Create your own eco-friendly all-purpose cleaner:

  1. Dissolve 1 tbsp detergent in 2 cups of warm water
  2. Pour into a spray bottle
  3. Use on countertops, sinks, and other hard surfaces
